About us

United Sterling Artists Foundation (USAF) grew from an annual fund raising event - the Black & White Boots Ball and Silent Art Auction - which was first hosted in 2003 by Sculptures by Design Studio. This annual event has developed a strong committee of knowledgable members - these members came together in 2008 to form the United Sterling Artists Foundation (Texas based 501c3). Our Mission Statement is:

"Artists making history and changing the face of the community"

We are committed to creating an awareness of the important role art plays in the community by being involved in and facilitating community art projects. We also aim to provide a platform for artists to stay connected to the local community through these projects and other events, and also stay connected to fellow artists via the Foundation.

One of the major focus points for the Foundation currently, is to enhance local greenspace public areas with works of art (see Projects for information on current projects).

Our major annual fundraising event - the Black & White Boots Ball and Silent Art Auction - is held each October. Proceeds raised from this event are donated to three great causes: M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund and USAF community based projects.
